I have been trying numerous times to see the comet NEOWISE in Colorado. I have planned the location on a few occasions but clouds ruined the evening. This past weekend I decided to try again. only this time I chose not to drive too far in case clouds were bad again. So I drove out to Denver International Airport which is only about 20 mins for me. I set up on a dirt road just on the edge of DIA property and shot numerous dusk images for the foreground. Then between 930-10-30pm MT I shot several images of the Comet zoomed in at 400mm (with 2x extender) and composited the images together.

I wanted to stay longer but while shooting I noticed a car dive up the dirt road slightly passed me, stop, then turn off all of their lights. There are no houses or side roads there so I was unsure why they stopped and wasn’t about to stay around and find out.
