Took a recent trip back to LA area. Visited over Thanksgiving week. Traveling during Covid wasn’t as bad as I thought. Airports were darn near empty and we sped through TSA with our pre-check. Planes were clean, we kept a distance from everyone and Southwest Airlines kept the middle seats open making for a good flight
We visited Hollywood Blvd on Thanksgiving day. Far fewer people on the street which made it easier to see all of the stars. Still a lot of shady folks but with it less nuts to butts it was easier to keep track and distance from the folks.
I finally visited the Rainbow Bar and Grill where Motley Crue and Guns n Roses got their starts. It was closed of course but still cool to see the outside. Beaches were empty too making the visit better. The only thing was dining, we mostly got groceries staying at an Air BnB but the few times we went out to eat we just got the food to go and had a picnic at the beach or park. We did eat at one restaurant near Santa Monica
