Hesperus, CO Ghost Town
I took a 2 week road trip with my parents recently. Our first stop was to be in SW Colorado where we stayed at an Air BnB in the town of Hesperus. It is located just outside of Durango. Across the road was a ‘ghost town’ of several abandoned buildings and farm equipment. We asked the the owners if we could shoot at night and they thankfully obliged. We shot several images of the Milky Way over the buildings and farm equipment.
Using a star tracker I was able to get longer exposures of the MW, and we used flashlights to light paint
